Our Client a well known Financial Services Company is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist in their New York, New York Location
- Handles complex negotiations for the procurement of IT goods, services, software and supplies to minimize the cost of purchases and to ensure business goals are met.
- Evaluates and selects suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
- Initiates contract administration with suppliers and vendors to ensure accordance with sourcing goals.
- Reviews analysis on price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
- Implements long-term supply chain strategies and develops networks to address capacity issues, etc.
- Works directly with the suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.
Salary : $50 - $55
