Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong full-stack expertise, including backend development in Python and front-end development in React, to support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of an AWS-hosted web application. This role will collaborate closely with data modelers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality applications while supporting multiple product teams in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Python and React.
• Design, write, test, and deploy clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Document data ownership, application architecture, and system integrations with enterprise data repositories.
• Ensure compliance with established development standards, policies, and procedures.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and tools to support evolving business needs.
• Contribute to technical documentation using Confluence and manage work items through Jira.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and application performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the development team.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Python Developer in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with Python libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, Datetime, and Regular Expressions (Regex).
• 2 years of front-end development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience writing SQL queries and developing stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
• Experience creating technical documentation using Confluence and managing work through Jira.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks such as PyTest, UnitTest, or Jest.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.
• Experience working with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), AWS Glue, ETL, and ELT processes.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices.

Salary : $45 - $50
