What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller- SaaS Organization position at Phyton Talent Advisors?
Looking for a Hands-on Controller responsible for leading all accounting and financial operations for a growing SaaS company.
It's a fully remote role, with occasional meetings a couple times per month in the North Jersey/NYC Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of onshore and offshore
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reporting
- Manage SaaS revenue recognition and compliance with GAAP
- Oversee cash management, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and external advisors
- Partner with leadership on financial planning and operational initiatives
Qualified candidates must have hands-on, small company controllership experience at a PE backed, international SaaS organization
CPA REQUIRED
Salary 150k-180k base DOE
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
