We are a small private duty agency that is growing. Our office is located in Mount Dora. We service clients in Lake, Marion, Sumter and Citrus County. We care for seniors in their homes and strive to provide excellent care and customer service.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is passionate about caring for others, organized, able to handle stressful situations at times, available on weekends, ability to be on call, and have experience working as a caregiver/HHA/CNA, and office/computer skills.
The Scheduler/Client Care Coordinator is responsible for effective service delivery to clients, guiding, and directing Caregivers schedules. The Scheduler will assist with the assignment of appropriate staff to clients, schedule client services, identify problem situations and assist in problem solving to strive for optimum outcomes.
Must fill any last minute call outs or at times cover shifts that cannot be filled.Responsibilities Include:
Answering incoming calls
Creates and maintains caregivers and client’s schedules. Schedule’s client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability.
Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests, and care plans.
Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.
Assist in keeping client and employee files in compliance with AHCA and FirstLight guidelines.
Takes calls after hours and weekends to handle emergencies, scheduling issues, and client referrals and intakes.
Quality assurance, contact caregivers and new clients routinely.
Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED.
Must have reliable transportation
A passion to see seniors experience the best quality of life.
Excellent Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Prior scheduling experience preferred.
Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and scheduling software.
Basic medical terminology.
Previous HHA or CNA experience preferred
Ability to work independently.
Sense of urgency
Multi-task and effectively deal with the demands of the job.
