Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

- The Clinical Research Fellowship aims to provide structured, advanced training and mentorship in scientific inquiry, allowing fellows to develop the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to become independent researchers and contributors to their field.
- The Research Fellowship was established in 2025 by Dr. Ariella Gartenberg, the current Fellowship Director
- Duty hours will be divided into clinical and academic hours.
- Clinical time will function as an Emergency Medicine Attending and will work across two diverse campuses: Jacobi Medical Center and NCB.

- Jacobi EM is responsible for running Jacobi’s regional snake-bite center and a multi-person hyperbaric treatment facility that treat elective and emergency cases.
- The Department has active programs in ultrasound, simulation, hyperbarics, toxicology/addiction care, public health and advocacy, global health, education, and research.
