- Determine proper press settings for Ejection, Fill, and Compaction from a part blueprint.
- Be able to qualify and prepare PM tooling for installation, including cleanliness, condition, de-mag, fit and verifying there are no collisions.
- Identify all required adaptations such as blocks, bolts, clamps, tubes, etc. required for a successful tool stack up.
- Install all required adaptations and tooling, resulting in correct ejection, fill and mold positions.
- Review the shoe condition and identify opportunities to reduce tailings in each setup and be able to replace shoe bottoms.
- Use inspection equipment, specifically a micrometer, calipers, and indicators as well as any other gaging required to qualify a setup.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance as required for each set up.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Run all equipment as necessary and perform any other duties assigned by management.
- Ensure smooth operations and provide support when the primary supervisor is unavailable
- Familiarity using PLEX ERP
