What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Tech I position at Phoenix Packaging Operations LLC?

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Perform all work in accordance with the established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag/out and notify any unsafe conditions to shift Supervisor, Shift engineer, Manufacturing Manager and Safety coordinator.
2. Follow all company safety policies. Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to shift Supervisor. Report any property damage and immediately report any injury, including pain or discomfort(even from home)
3. Direct responsibility for the production and maintenance process in the machines assigned. Get support and give guidance about the production process and machine setup, change overs and machine repairs. Compliance the PMP (Production Mater Plan). Responsible to assure the use of the correct materials in all the machines according with the work order.
4. Assure his/her team is continuously fulfilling procedures including but not limited to Set up, Change overs, GMP's, Safety, quality, packaging specs etc.
5. Check the machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to determine in advance, possible damages or repairs that need to be performed. Execute the repairs.
6. Obtain from the operators and technical operators the information . Directly responsible for making fine adjustment, improvements and mange the operational standard in the assigned machines. Perform all maintenance activities such as cleaning, inspection, lubrication and corrective routines. Participate in preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance. Direct responsible to assure all the information filed correctly Such as production sheets, Efficiency system, BAAN, cleaning forms, inspection forms, maintenance WO, parallelism, etc. Perform QA checks with various instruments such as scales, micrometers, height gauges and various attribute gauges to ensure all standards are being met.
7. Support the other job modules (peers) when his/her knowledge is needed.
8. Actively participate in improvement project and Support the projects undertaken by the organization, where he/she can add value.
9. Participate in department meetings of asset efficiency, analyzing the root causes of failures and provide solutions for improvement.
10. Assist to training coordinated by HR where participation is needed.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned by shift Engineer and /or managers.
12. Participate in accident investigations, workplace inspections, general observations, or other safety related functions as requested by supervisor or manager.
