What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Electrician position at Phoenix Modular Elevator, Inc?
Mechanic Electrician
Phoenix Modular Elevator is growing, and we need to add a person to our Elevator Electrical Mechanical Assembly Team. The work includes:
· Assembling and installing elevator doors and door opening equipment
· Cutting and bending conduit, connecting to trough and installing on shaft walls
· Pulling wires through conduit
· Landing wires on elevator equipment
This is a very specialized application of mechanical and electrical trades, so for right person that shows good mechanical and electrical aptitude, we will train in the specifics of elevators. Career growth potential includes becoming an elevator mechanic that maintains and repairs elevators.
The ideal candidate:
· Has mechanical experience (e.g., fixing cars)
· Has electrical experience beyond just residential wiring (e.g. fixing cars)
· Is very precise and detail oriented

Hours are 5:30 am - 4 pm Mon-Thu with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday.
