What You'll Do:
As a Nurse at Searstone, you'll take the lead on your shift to ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centered care. You'll be a trusted care provider and a role model for our care team, promoting a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Supervise and guide CNAs in providing personal and restorative care
- Perform assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes
- Handle admissions, transfers, discharges, and complete accurate documentation
- Administer medications and maintain eMAR/eTAR accuracy
- Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Support residents with daily living activities and appointments
- Lead shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergencies and document incidents
- Promote cleanliness, safety, and compliance at all times
- Active LPN or RN license in North Carolina
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
- Experience in long-term care or senior living (preferred)
- A calm, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and be part of the on-call rotation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Must be fluent in English and able to use standard communication tools
