What are the responsibilities and job description for the IBOR Inbound Data Integration Engineer position at Phaxis?
Pay rate is $75 to $80 per hour
- Familiarity with IBOR Investment Book of Record (IBOR) systems (Eagle preferred), feed scheduling tools (Airflow/ActiveBatch), and cloud technologies.

Strong SQL/ETL engineer who can design, build, map, and test inbound data interfaces for a new BNY Eagle IBOR system.

Experience gathering requirements, analyzing existing interfaces, and defining future-state data ingestion processes.

Hands-on interface development skills, including testing, validation, and documenting test cases/results.

Ability to collaborate across teams including IBOR, Eagle consultants, data architects, business users, vendors, and support project planning.

Strong understanding of financial markets data, buy-side investment workflows, asset classes, and reference/index data.
- Solid background in QA, UAT support, documentation, and preparing processes for operational handoff (Managed Services).
- Python or C# is a plus.
