Our client, a leading cosmetics manufacturer, has a great opportunity available for an experienced Project Manager.
The role is responsible for leading cross-functional projects within a contract manufacturing environment. Projects include new product introductions, continuous improvement initiatives, component qualifications, and business growth programs. This position plans, coordinates, tracks, and executes projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives while serving as a key point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively identify risks and issues.
Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders.
Communicate project status, risks, and changes clearly and consistently.
Escalate issues as needed to leadership or steering teams.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare and present regular project status reports and dashboards.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
And other duties / responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the company.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in manufacturing or product development environments.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing workflows, and supply chain operations.
Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Stage-Gate methodologies.
Project management certification (CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools.
