MEDICAL ASSISTANTS HIRING ASAP Patchogue, Commack, Stonybrook, Lake Grove
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect lab specimens and perform routine tests
- Enter provider orders in EMR for review
- Retrieve outside records and test results
- Educate patients on treatments, medications, and procedures
- Clean and prep exam rooms and sterilize instruments
- Manage and order medical supplies
- Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Perform front desk duties including scheduling and phone support
- Assist with patient flow and visit completion protocols
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Experience with EMR and basic computer skills
- Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
