We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of End User Technology to lead the vision, delivery, and continuous evolution of our end-user computing environment. This leader will be responsible for shaping a modern, secure, and scalable digital workplace, while driving enterprise-wide initiatives across endpoint management, Microsoft 365, audio-visual (AV) technologies, and cross-platform device ecosystems.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong people leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the long-term strategy and roadmap for end-user technology, aligned with enterprise IT and business priorities
- Lead and scale a high-performing team responsible for end-user support, endpoint engineering, AV services, and workplace technologies
- Drive enterprise initiatives across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android platforms, ensuring a consistent, secure, and high-quality user experience
- Oversee endpoint management across all platforms, including device lifecycle, provisioning, patching, compliance, and performance optimization
- Own the architecture, governance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Lead the strategy and implementation of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and modern endpoint solutions (e.g., Intune, Workspace ONE)
- Oversee AV technologies, including conference rooms, collaboration tools, and hybrid meeting experiences, ensuring seamless functionality and user adoption
- Partner with Information Security to ensure robust endpoint protection, identity management, and regulatory compliance across all devices
- Champion digital workplace transformation initiatives, focusing on user experience, automation, and scalability
- Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and experience metrics to continuously improve service delivery and employee satisfaction
- Manage vendor strategy, contracts, and key partnerships to ensure best-in-class service and cost efficiency
- Act as a senior advisor to IT leadership and business stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving alignment across the organization
Qualifications:
- 15 years of progressive IT experience, with deep expertise in end-user technology and workplace services
- Proven leadership experience managing managers and building high-performing, scalable teams
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 and modern workplace platforms
- Extensive experience with endpoint management and MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Workspace ONE) across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android environments
- Experience overseeing AV and workplace collaboration technologies in a corporate environment
- Deep understanding of endpoint security, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, with a focus on business outcomes
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading large-scale digital workplace or cloud transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with ITIL or modern IT service management frameworks
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, or security
