Behavioral Health Technician / Mental Health Support Specialist (Per Diem)

💲 Up to $21/hr | Flexible Scheduling | Day & Night Shifts Available
We are currently hiring compassionate and dependable professionals for a Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) facility providing 24/7 support services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges.
This is a per diem opportunity offering excellent flexibility for candidates seeking supplemental income or adaptable scheduling.
Available Shifts
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Provide direct support and supervision to consumers
- Assist with and model daily living skills
- Monitor and document consumer behaviors, symptoms, and concerns
- Communicate observations to clinical team members
- Participate in shift reports and team collaboration
- Provide transportation as needed
- Support a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis situations
- Compassion for individuals facing mental health and substance abuse challenges
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong belief in recovery and client advocacy
