We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with deep expertise in Advent Geneva to support our investment operations, accounting, and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Advent Geneva platform, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities System Ownership & Support-
Serve as a subject-matter expert for Advent Geneva functionality, configuration, and workflow.

Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshooting data and process issues.

Manage user inquiries, investigate breaks, and escalate complex issues to vendors or internal tech teams.

Work closely with Operations, Finance, Front Office, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.

Analyze and optimize Geneva workflows, including NAV processes, GL accounting, performance, and reconciliation.

Identify opportunities to improve automation, reduce manual touchpoints, and enhance data quality.

Lead and participate in system upgrades, new feature implementations, and integration projects.

Create functional specifications, process documentation, test cases, and user training materials.

Coordinate UAT, release planning, and post-deployment validation.

Support the creation and maintenance of Geneva reports, custom fields, and rules.

Work with data teams to ensure accurate integration between Geneva and upstream/downstream systems (OMS, CRM, data warehouse, etc.).

Assist with audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting related to portfolio accounting.

Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams.

Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Provide training and guidance to users on Geneva features and best practices.

3 to 7 years of experience working with Advent Geneva in an operations, accounting, or business analyst role.

Strong understanding of portfolio accounting concepts: NAV, trades, corporate actions, P&L, performance, and reconciliations.

Experience with Geneva tools (Rules, Custom Fields, Ledger, Gains/Loss, Pricing, etc.).

Experience with SQL, Python, or data integration tools.

Knowledge of hedge fund or asset management operations.

Exposure to OMS platforms (e.g., Eze, Bloomberg AIM, Trade Order systems).

Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
