Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) – Suffolk County, NY 11720 (Experienced)
Coram | Centereach | Ridge | Massapequa | Northport Locations
Pay: $16.50 – $17.50/ hour
Shifts: Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and qualified individuals to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential and day program settings.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Recent QuantiFERON or 2-Step TB test clearance
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care (toileting, showering, hygiene)
Monitor health, medications, and report changes promptly
Support during crisis situations and follow incident protocols
Maintain clean, safe, and supportive living environments
Ensure attendance at daily activities, work programs, or day habilitation
Foster independence, dignity, and quality of life for each individual
