Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – School-Based
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 and/or small-group behavioral support for students in a school-based setting in Gardner, Massachusetts. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support students’ academic, social, and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA
- Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support within the classroom or school environment
- Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress
- Assist with skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with school and district policies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with children or adolescents with autism and/or behavioral needs preferred
- School-based or classroom experience strongly preferred
- Ability to follow behavior plans and collect data accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Schedule & Setting
- School-based position in Gardner, MA
- Monday–Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar
- Consistent daytime hours (no evenings or weekends)
