School Occupational Therapist (OT)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to middle and high school students in a supportive school setting. The OT will manage a mixed caseload and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades 6–12
- Manage a caseload of approximately 39 students
- Deliver both direct services and consultative support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Complete documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Caseload & Classroom Details
- Classroom Type: Middle School / High School
- Service Model: Direct therapy services and consultation
- Student Caseload: 39 students
Schedule
- Hours: 37 hours per week
Qualifications
- Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
