What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Clinical Project Manager position at Pharmaron CPC?
We are seeking a Clinical Research Project Manager to join our Baltimore, MD Project Management team. This will be a fully remote role after an initial 1-2 week onsite training period.
As a Clinical Research Project Manager, you are responsible for full-cycle project management and act as the point person in charge of assigned studies. This role will plan, budget, monitor, and report on the project status and completion. PMs act as the bridge between sponsors, upper management, and the department heads tasked with the execution of the study.
- Collaborates with BD team to execute site qualification and feasibility meetings
- Work closely with department heads to evaluate costs for labor, equipment needs, and/or any other supplies needed for the protocol/synopsis
- Collaborates with management to write, review and finalize proposal packages for sponsor submission
- Initiates and hosts all project kick-off meetings
- Creates integrated project timelines
- Serves as a central point of contact with sponsors for all deliverables
- Responsible to monitor the progress of each individual project deliverable against the project
- Responds to sponsor post-study inquiries – collaborates with department heads
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in related field
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience in a Clinical Research environment, preferably in support of early phase and phase I studies
- Management Professional (PMP) Certification required but may be obtained within 2 years of hire or assignment
