Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support on-the-floor manufacturing quality activities at a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Fall River, MA. This role is responsible for monitoring in-process manufacturing activities, performing inspections and checks, and ensuring compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and quality standards throughout production operations.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process quality inspections and checks per batch records and SOPs
• Conduct AQL sampling and inspection activities as required
• Verify room, line, and equipment readiness prior to manufacturing steps
• Inspect in-process and finished product samples and document results accurately
• Review batch records for completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation
• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity
• Verify calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment status records
• Ensure proper identification and segregation of non-conforming materials
• Identify, document, and report deviations or quality concerns
• Support investigations, documentation, and follow-up actions as needed
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and quality requirements
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate degree, vocational training, or coursework in science, chemistry, or manufacturing preferred
• 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP and SOP-driven operations
• Ability to review documentation and identify discrepancies
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication
• Comfortable using computer systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to wear required PPE as applicable
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including overnight shifts
