Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Shift: Second Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Production Operators for solid oral dosage manufacturing operations. The role involves executing all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including dispensing, granulation, sifting, milling, drying, encapsulation, compression, coating, and line clearance activities while ensuring strict compliance with cGMP, SOPs, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing activities including dispensing, granulation, sifting, milling, drying, blending, compression, encapsulation, coating, and cleaning.
• Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot pharmaceutical solid dosage equipment compliant with cGMP.
• Complete batch records, logbooks, and documentation accurately, clearly, and legibly in English.
• Maintain hygiene, adhere to safety procedures, and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure housekeeping, record integrity, and compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Follow schedules and assist team to complete manufacturing tasks on time.
• Participate in quality investigations and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with production leadership, quality, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of current experience as a Production Operator in solid oral dosage (tablets/capsules) manufacturing.
• Experience with cGMP equipment such as granulators, tablet press, coating machines, blenders, and related machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and complete documentation in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours), lift up to 30 lbs safely, and work with PPE.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, batch records, safety standards, and pharmaceutical GMP guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor’s in Life Sciences preferred).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in OSHA PPE requirements, troubleshooting equipment, and training exposure.
• Knowledge of FDA-regulated environments.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
• Onsite full-time / manufacturing facility environment
• Must be comfortable working with equipment, PPE, and safety protocols

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
