Manufacturing Operator – Hauppauge, New York (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift)

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Hauppauge, NY is hiring Manufacturing Operators for multiple shifts. This role supports the production of quality medicines in a regulated environment while ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Operator will execute manufacturing activities such as blending, dispensing, coating, compression, and related processes in accordance with SOPs, batch records, cGMP standards, and safety guidelines. Candidates must be able to work independently, follow instructions, maintain documentation accurately, and operate equipment safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and cGMP requirements during production activities.
- Operate manufacturing equipment (e.g., blending machines, filling machines, dispensing systems, compression equipment).
- Perform machine setup, cleaning, changeover, line clearance, and equipment preparation.
- Complete documentation accurately and on time (logbooks, batch reports, cleaning records, labels, counts).
- Receive, transfer, verify materials during dispensing and production stages.
- Adhere to PPE requirements, safety standards, housekeeping, and proper equipment use.
- Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), follow safety protocols, and participate in required trainings.
- Assist with cross-functional support across Manufacturing and Packaging areas as needed.
- Support investigations, deviations, or troubleshooting under supervision.
- Maintain compliance and discipline according to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience (Entry Level I) OR 4 years (Level II) in Manufacturing/Production in Pharma, Nutraceuticals, Food & Beverage (Pepsi/Coca-Cola), Cosmetics, Medical Device, or other FDA-regulated industries.
- Relevant hands-on experience within the last 2–3 years.
- Experience in dispensing & blending preferred.
- Must have operated filling, blending, or similar production equipment.
- Familiar with cGMP, SOPs, PPE, and proper documentation.
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs and work with powders.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

- 2nd Shift (Includes Shift Differential of $0.50/hr)
- 3rd Shift (Includes Shift Differential of $0.50/hr)
Training will begin on 1st shift before transitioning.
