Work Schedule
Alternate shifts rotating every 2 to 4 weeks:
- 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on HVAC Technician with prior experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments to support critical facility operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as primary technician for HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, and exhaust systems within a regulated facility
- Perform and document daily operational rounds in compliance with GDP and GMP standards
- Monitor EMS/BMS systems, respond to alarms, and assess operational impact
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS systems
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems supporting cleanroom and critical environments
- Coordinate and oversee external service providers during shutdowns and major maintenance activities
- Collaborate with facilities and utilities teams to ensure system uptime and compliance
Key Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of HVAC experience in pharma, biotech, or GMP-regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with AHUs, chillers, cleanroom HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance practices
- Experience with CMMS, EMS/BMS systems, and alarm monitoring
- Ability to work independently and manage emergent maintenance tasks
- Trade school certification or equivalent military technical training
