What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk / Medical Assistant (Will Train – Optometry) position at Phamily Eye Care?
Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member for a dual role: front desk clinical support in a busy optometry office (retail setting).
Schedule: 25–30 hrs/week, 4–5 days/week, alternating Saturdays required
No clinical experience required – will train. Prior optometry/medical experience is a plus. Prior customer service experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Patient check-in/out, scheduling, phone calls
- Insurance verification, basic admin tasks
- Assist doctor with pre-testing and patient flow
Ideal candidate:
- Strong multitasking customer service skills
- Fast, accurate with computers
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Pay: $16–$19/hr (based on experience)
