Quality Assurance Team Lead

Job Summary

The is responsible for ensuring that products, services, and processes within PHA Georgia meet established quality standards by conducting product inspections, process audits, analyzing data, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions. Analyzing data, identifying issues and maintaining quality management systems.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Strong hands-on leader
• Control of product inspection and quality inspectors
• work with production and logistic teams to provide defect free product to customers
• Subject matter expert on product assembly) know has much as production team on product assembly
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong enthusiasm to learn and suggest new concepts, techniques,
• Teacher (the heart of a teacher to teach others),
• Self-Starter (the ability to work with minimal oversight),
• The ability to bridge (navigate) within a facility that has multiple languages (English l Spanish l Créole l French l Korean),
• Follow through (ability to make sure the job gets done)
• Be a team player

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Excellent attendance,
• Excellent work attitude,
• Warehouse and/or manufacturing quality experience,
• Prior quality experience with minimal or no office setting, (this is not a sit-down desk position)

Physical demands in work environment:

• Continually stand or walk 100% of work time.
• Continually required to talk, hear, write.
• Required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
• Performing duties of this job the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision an ability to just focus.
• The work area is heat/air conditioned within an office environment, with 100% of the time spent in a shop floor environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.25 - $21.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
