Digital Printing Operator (Night Shift)

About the role:
As a Digital Printing Operator on our night shift team, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality printed materials that meet both customer expectations and PFL's production standards. You'll operate and maintain digital presses, manage workflow, and support efficient, accurate production of every job. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering precision work that helps our customers shine.

What you'll do:

• Operate digital printing equipment efficiently and accurately to meet daily production goals
• Review job tickets, prepare digital files, and organize production runs for maximum efficiency
• Inspect output for color accuracy, registration, and quality standards
• Complete finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, and packaging as needed
• Perform regular maintenance on digital presses to ensure reliability
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with vendors when necessary
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Essential functions:

• Possess an intermediate level of technical proficiency to operate digital printers and associated software tools ensuring high value print runs and on time shipments
• Adhere strictly to processes and review job tickets with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality print output and low spoilage
• Continuously aware of work environment, and strict adherence to safety protocols
• Operate and maintain equipment, including digital printers and pallet jacks, safely and effectively while managing a high volume of work
• Stand/walk for 8 hours; frequently lift/carry 40 lbs; perform grasping, reaching, pushing/pulling, twisting, bending, and stooping

Schedule & pay:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, five days/week, night shift: 4 p.m-12 a.m.
• Training:8 a.m-5 p.m
• Meal break: Standard 20-minute break paid or up-to 60 minutes unpaid with appropriate adjustment to hours
• Compensation:$22.00/hr $2.00/hr night shift differential
