As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will help shape next-generation automation built on collaborative robots, PLCs, motion platforms, and advanced sensing technologies. You’ll partner closely with mechanical, software, and R&D teams to turn ambitious concepts into reliable, field-ready systems—and contribute to patent-worthy innovations that push industry boundaries.
What You Will Do
- Lead control-system development: sequencing, motion tuning, HMI integration
- Program and refine servos, steppers, and multi-axis (7-axis) robotic systems
- Tackle real-world precision challenges (vibration, resonance, etc.)
- Integrate intelligent sensors including vision, infrared LiDAR, and ultrasonic
- Define system architectures using flow diagrams and state machines
- Collaborate across disciplines from concept through deployment
- Support invention disclosures and IP creation
- Travel up to 25% for system launches and customer installations
What You Bring
- 5 years designing automation systems with PLCs, motion controllers, and robotics
- Experience with servo tuning, torque feedback, and multi-axis motion control
- Proficiency in automation languages (Structured Text, Ladder, C)
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (CANbus, Modbus, MQTT, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with control-panel hardware and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated success delivering automation projects end-to-end
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
