What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Field Service Engineer position at Peyton Resource Group?
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex electronic, mechanical, and technical tasks including construction, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and maintenance of microwave systems, electro-mechanical devices, and other related equipment.
- Interpret and work from engineering schematics, wiring diagrams, and written or verbal instructions.
- Conduct functional testing and diagnostics on RF and digital systems.
- Lead small teams in equipment installation and testing at remote sites.
- Operate specialized electronic and mechanical tools and instruments required for assembly, diagnostics, and maintenance.
- Identify and recommend design or process improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Define procedures and determine sequences for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, and modifying electronic/mechanical products.
- Utilize basic computer systems, including Microsoft Windows OS, Linux, PLCs, and software installations; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contract work.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Associate degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent training with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Preferred candidates will have an in-depth understanding of the instruments and equipment: Capacitors/test procedures/lead-free soldering/spectrum analyzers.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
