Duties & Responsibilities
The Sales Rep is responsible for developing and growing new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including:
- Conducting outbound outreach through phone calls, emails, networking, and social media
- Building relationships with referral partners
- Attending local events and visiting partner offices to establish a strong market presence
- Managing the full sales process from lead generation through closing
- Creating relationship-building strategies through networking, events, and community engagement
- Maintaining consistent sales activity to support pipeline and revenue goals
- Demonstrating a driven, results-oriented approach to business development
Experience & Background
- Ability to obtain an insurance license prior to employment
- Experience in customer-facing or sales-focused environments preferred
- Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt and learn quickly
