Inventory Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations & Inventory professional to support field service operations in a fast-paced multi-location environment. This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in industries such as HVAC, plumbing, petroleum service, restaurant equipment repair, electrical contracting, commercial refrigeration, fleet maintenance, or similar service-based operations with rolling warehouse and technician truck stock management.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing inventory controls, replenishment systems, warehouse operations, vendor coordination, and inventory accuracy while supporting field technicians and branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse inventory operations and inventory performance metrics
• Maintain inventory balance, replenishment schedules, and truck stock levels
• Place vendor orders and manage purchase order processes
• Enter and maintain purchase orders within ERP systems
• Coordinate incoming shipments, receiving documentation, and inventory transfers
• Partner with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and parts
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations
• Oversee warranty processing and core return management
• Support multiple branch locations with inventory distribution needs
• Lead warehouse personnel, material handlers, and inventory clerks
• Maintain inventory control procedures and chain-of-custody standards
• Monitor inventory leakage and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, service, and leadership teams
• Maintain appropriate stocking levels for high-demand service parts

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of warehouse inventory management experience
• Experience supporting field service operations or technician-based environments
• Strong knowledge of vendor ordering and replenishment processes
• Experience managing MIN/MAX inventory levels
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Vision, Microsoft Dynamics, Acumatica, or similar
• Experience supporting truck stock or bin replenishment programs
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
