Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for plant operations, equipment, systems, and processes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
- Act as the primary technical resource for internal stakeholders, customers, contractors, and site personnel.
- Monitor facility performance and respond to power interruptions, equipment failures, operational upsets, and abnormal operating conditions.
- Lead troubleshooting activities and coordinate corrective actions to restore operations safely and efficiently.
- Perform root cause analyses for equipment failures, power disruptions, and operational incidents.
- Develop incident reports, corrective action plans, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Foster and maintain a strong safety culture throughout plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, operational standards, customer commitments, and industry best practices.
- Oversee maintenance programs, inspections, testing activities, and equipment lifecycle management efforts.
- Support preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs to maximize asset availability and performance.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during commissioning, startup, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Analyze operating data, equipment performance metrics, and reliability trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive initiatives that improve safety, reliability, operational efficiency, cost performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports, maintenance documentation, technical procedures, incident investigations, and compliance records.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to operations personnel, maintenance technicians, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations, emergency response activities, and non-standard work schedules as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation, industrial operations, plant engineering, field operations, or a comparable technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of power generation equipment, electrical systems, mechanical systems, instrumentation, controls, and plant operations.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
- Experience conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, risk management principles, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to support rotating schedules, emergency response activities, and operational coverage requirements.
- Ability to travel to support multiple facilities, project sites, and customer locations as needed.
