Job Description:

The Payroll Coordinator manages employee compensation, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly employee payroll
• Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and provide exceptional customer service
• Coordinates with HR to maintain employee records related to payroll, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and termination documentation
• Prepare payroll reports for management and finance department
• Stay up to date on payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements
• Review and Audit year end W2’s
• Monthly payroll liability reconciliations
• Backup and support other roles as needed 

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing and tax laws
• Ability to accurately enter and maintain employee data in payroll systems
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills to explain payroll-related issues to employees
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll-related software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive employee information
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing
• Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and policies related to payroll

Requirements:

• Payroll processing & time keeping experience
• Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Application
