Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Catalog Data Specialist to join our data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the accuracy of our product and master data across multiple platforms. Your expertise will drive data quality, support business intelligence initiatives, and facilitate seamless data integration. Duties

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive product catalogs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all systems.
  • Develop and implement data collection processes utilizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica or Talend to streamline data ingestion from diverse sources.
  • Design and optimize database systems including SQL databases, data warehouses, and Oracle environments to support scalable data storage solutions.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools like Tableau for visual analytics and reporting to identify trends, monitor data quality, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold information governance standards.
  • Monitor data quality metrics regularly using data analytics tools; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance data integrity.
  • Lead projects related to master data management (MDM), ensuring consistent definitions and standards across organizational units while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Agile methodologies.

Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL programming for database querying, management, and analysis.
  • Extensive experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend for efficient data integration workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of big data platforms and technologies supporting large-scale data processing.
  • Expertise in business intelligence platforms like Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with Python programming for automation, scripting, and advanced analytics tasks.
  • Deep understanding of database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud-based solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
  • Knowledge of data model design principles to develop logical and physical schemas that support business needs.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance management related to data privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams using Agile project management practices; excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality management, analysis techniques, and insights generation.
  • Understanding of information governance frameworks that promote secure, compliant handling of organizational data assets.
