DATA & COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST
The Data & Community Outreach Specialist supports the collection, organization, and analysis of program and activity-level data to inform planning, evaluation, and reporting. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to track services, outreach efforts, and program outcomes.
The position contributes to public health initiatives related to substance use prevention, including opioids and other drugs, through data support, community outreach, education, and program coordination. The role focuses on monitoring activities and engagement trends, supporting awareness efforts, and strengthening connections between community members and available resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Management & Analysis
- Collect, organize, and maintain program and activity data (services delivered, events, outreach efforts)
- Track participation trends and program outputs to support evaluation and planning
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation
- Support reporting requirements for grants, programs, and initiatives
Program & Operational Support
- Assist with implementation and coordination of program activities and events
- Support day-to-day operational and data-related functions
- Contribute to public health initiatives focused on substance use prevention
Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify data tracking needs related to programs and activities
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and project discussions
- Provide data insights to support program improvements and outcomes
- Assist staff in understanding and using program data effectively
Community Outreach & Partnerships
- Coordinate with external partners and community organizations to support outreach efforts
- Assist in tracking and documenting outreach activities and engagement
- Support community engagement with youth, families, and stakeholders
- Share program data findings in a clear and accessible way
- Maintain professional relationships with partners
