This job operates in a professional home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, e-fax, printers, copiers, and scanners.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. However, additional hours may be required to meet company, team and client deadlines.
Travel
No outside travel is required.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Create and process customer invoices
- Record payments
- Set up new customer accounts and run credit reports
- Monitor Accounts Receivable/collections
- May process Accounts Payable invoices and W-9 verification for new vendors
- May process weekly Accounts Payable check run and monitor when invoices are due
- Process, reconcile credit card payments and code to proper account
- Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts as needed
- Process monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with financial statement review
- Assist with month-end closing process
- Open and close projects across all relevant platforms, ensuring accurate setup and timely completion
- Review SOWs, Purchase Orders, and maintain up to date financial tracking grids
- Review and manage employee expense reports in Concur to ensure accuracy in line with company policies and provide guidance as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
- Ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external customers

Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Working knowledge in QuickBooks
