Project Manager - Defines, develops, and manages multiple large, concurrent, complex projects and programs. Responsible for managing scopes and timelines, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring client satisfaction, this individual must be an excellent communicator, highly efficient and an expert in all facets of project management. The Project Manager must be able to earn and maintain the respect of cross-functional team members and clients who rely upon this individual’s knowledge and expertise. Other responsibilities include management of project resources to ensure our partners’ goals are achieved on time, on budget, and with unparalleled quality, for an outstanding client and faculty experience.
Essential Functions
Works collaboratively and consultatively with clients and peers Leads cross-functional teams through successful project execution and completion Has a strong understanding of the strategic direction of assigned accounts, along with knowledge of the client-specific disease states, products, and marketplace competition Provides original and strategic ideas and follows through to achieve client goals Has an advanced knowledge of and experience with MedComm products and services and can consistently make needs-based product and service recommendations to clients Understands and can apply and articulate privacy and compliance guidelines Leads onsite events and proactively manages vendors to achieve the best results for the client Supports client work by occasionally traveling to live events and meetings (<5% travel)
Essential To Success In This Role
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of project management experience in a Medical Communications organization
