Job Summary
Want to be a part of a PAW!SOME Team? Pet Castle Resort is hiring professional and experienced managers who are willing to be a part of a very busy, hectic, but certainly rewarding job! We are seeking an experienced Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced doggie daycare environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of dog safety, and customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring safety standards, and having effective and good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff, including training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and ensuring the day to day operations are being fulfilled.
- Experienced in monitoring playgroups to ensure safe interactions and prevent injuries
- Ensure behavior assessment procedures for new dogs
- Maintain sanitary and cleaning conditions throughout the facility
- Ensure all equipment (gates, kennels, cameras, cleaning tools) is in safe and working order
- Greet and assist customers with check in/check out
- Communicate effectively daily with customers on their dog's behavior
- Maintain accurate records of vaccinations, enrollments and payments
- Working Holidays and weekends are a must and non-negotiable.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a dog kennel/daycare environment
- Demonstrated ability in supervising teams within a kennel/daycare environment
- Prior experience in training & development of staff members is highly desirable.
- Leadership skills with a track record of effective team management and staff development.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
