We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee the execution of complex civil construction projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, safety-conscious CCTV Operator to operate our dedicated pipe-inspection van equipped with the Envirosight Rovver X robotic crawler camera system and Verisight Ultra push camera for sanitary sewer, storm drain, and related underground utility inspections. This specialized field role performs NASSCO PACP-compliant condition assessments, generates accurate video and coded reports, maintains inspection equipment, and supports project teams with pre- and post-construction pipeline documentation across heavy civil and wet utility projects in the Maryland / DMV / Baltimore region. The operator works under the direction of the Superintendent or Project Manager, coordinates closely with field crews, and delivers high-quality, specification-compliant inspection data.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate the purpose-built CCTV inspection van and all associated equipment including the Envirosight Rovver X robotic crawler, Verisight Ultra push camera, cable reels, generators, lighting, and data-collection systems.
• Perform mainline and lateral pipeline inspections of sanitary sewer, storm drain, and other gravity systems in accordance with project specifications and NASSCO PACP / LACP standards.
• Code defects, features, and observations accurately using current NASSCO PACP coding conventions; produce complete video, still images, and electronic reports ready for delivery to clients, engineers, or internal project teams.
• Locate and access manholes, cleanouts, and inspection points; set up traffic control or coordinate with flaggers as needed; maintain safe working clearances around open manholes and traffic.
• Conduct pre-inspection equipment checks, calibrate or zero systems as required, and perform post-inspection cleaning, storage, and basic maintenance of cameras, crawlers, cables, and van systems.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Managers, and owners’ representatives on inspection priorities, access, cleaning requirements, and deliverable schedules.
• Support pre-construction baseline surveys, post-installation acceptance inspections, defect documentation for repair scopes, and coordination with cleaning or rehabilitation crews when required.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of inspections, equipment logs, and certifications; upload or transfer data per company protocols.
• Operate the inspection van in accordance with all traffic laws, company vehicle policies, and site access rules; keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and road-ready.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety rules; exercise stop-work authority for unsafe conditions; participate in daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Represent the company professionally on public roads, job sites, and when interfacing with inspectors, agencies, or the public.

Required Qualifications

• Current NASSCO PACP certification (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) — required. (Note: “NACCO” is understood as NASSCO; PACP is the industry-standard certification for this work.)
• Demonstrated experience operating robotic crawler CCTV systems (Envirosight Rovver X or equivalent preferred) and push-camera systems (Verisight Ultra or similar).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to safely operate a specialized inspection van in the Maryland / DMV / Baltimore area.
• Working knowledge of sanitary sewer and storm drain systems, manhole access, and basic confined-space awareness.
• Ability to accurately identify and code pipe defects (cracks, fractures, roots, infiltration, offsets, debris, etc.) per NASSCO standards.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, around traffic, and performing physical setup of equipment (lifting cable reels, manhole covers with tools, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, organized digital file management, and clear written/verbal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional early starts, overtime, or weekend inspections as project needs dictate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional NASSCO certifications: LACP (Laterals) and/or MACP (Manholes).
• Experience with WinCan, GraniteNet, POSM, or similar inspection software packages.
• Prior work on Maryland / DMV municipal or public-works sewer and storm projects.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30; confined-space entry or competent-person awareness training.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for field troubleshooting of camera systems and generators.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus on many projects.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
