Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, or transportation planning.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License, or ability to obtain reciprocity within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public Works experience.
- Municipal, County, State, or Public Agency transportation experience.
- Experience with traffic operations, signal systems, transportation planning, and development review.
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred.
- Experience managing transportation infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
