Full-Time Residential Manager
Location: Mt. Holly, NJ (On-site; occasional travel to Willingboro, NJ)

Position Summary
The Residential Manager oversees the daily operations of group homes and provides direct supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This role ensures compliance with organizational standards, supports staff development, and promotes a safe, structured, and enriching environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support DSP staff, including scheduling, performance oversight, and shift coverage as needed
- Collaborate with Lead DSPs to develop and implement social and community-based activities
- Participate in the development and ongoing updates of Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Maintain a safe and compliant residential environment by coordinating facility needs with the Facilities department
- Review and approve staff time entries in the payroll system
- Oversee staff onboarding, including scheduling acclimation and completing evaluation checklists
- Attend and support house meetings to ensure effective communication and program consistency
- Develop monthly menus aligned with individual dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained within the home
- Conduct weekly reviews of Medication Administration Records (MAR) for accuracy and compliance
- Review and complete Unusual Incident Reports as required
- Oversee grocery shopping and ensure alignment with residents’ preferences and needs
- Support individuals in managing Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) funds and maintain proper documentation
- Review medical documentation to ensure all healthcare needs are addressed
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in THERAP, including progress notes, attendance, and communication logs
- Maintain and update individual records, including during annual ISP reviews
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Residential Services
Qualifications
- Experience supervising staff in a residential or human services setting preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Compensation
Starting salary: $53,000 annually
Compensation may be adjusted based on relevant supervisory experience and nonprofit background.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Applicants must have at least two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (not exceeding 5 points) is required. Probationary licenses are not accepted.
- Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Successful candidates must be able to pass all required background checks.
Salary : $53,000 - $60,000
