Respiratory Care Practitioner

Seeking qualified Respiratory Care Practitioners and Associate Respiratory Care Practitioners to provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services in a hospital setting. The role involves performing duties independently in accordance with departmental policies, collaborating with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans, and demonstrating a thorough understanding of contemporary respiratory therapy principles.

Qualifications Include

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Licenses such as Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• For Respiratory Care Practitioners: additional certifications like ACLS and PALS within specified timeframes, and at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or more than 10 years as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
• For Associate Practitioners: CRT with less than 5 years’ experience must obtain RRT within 6 months, or 5 years CRT without RRT requirement
