Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, while adhering to safety and cost-effective practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments appropriate to patient age and condition.
- Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
- Assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills.
- Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
- Promote patient safety by minimizing risks and ensuring best practices.
- Practice lifelong learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
