We are seeking a Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) for our PACU Unit to provide direct patient care to a diverse age range, from infants to geriatrics, in a surgical environment.
Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive pre- and post-procedure assessments, communicating continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists about patient status, maintaining surgical equipment and inventory, ensuring operating room readiness, and assisting with patient positioning and monitoring during procedures.
Qualifications required are current RN licensure in Nevada, at least two years of nursing experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. The role demands knowledge of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care, interpret patient data, and identify specific needs.
