- Implementing physician's orders accurately and promptly
- Supervising and assigning care to staff members based on residents' needs and staff capabilities
- Administering medications and treatments, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Participating in staff orientation and training
- Assisting with special tests and procedures within scope of practice
- Managing supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards
- Monitoring residents' reactions and reporting observations
- Coordinating care during therapy or procedures and managing emergency situations
- Supervising staff scheduling, conducting evaluations, and participating in disciplinary actions as permitted by law
- Promoting team morale, fostering positive interpersonal relationships, and ensuring resident satisfaction
- Reporting suspected abuse immediately and maintaining confidentiality
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid LPN/LVN license and CPR certification
- Preferred one year of nursing experience
