Role: Full-time OB Nocturnist responsible for managing labor & delivery, triage, postpartum, ED calls, and GYN emergencies at a high-volume women's hospital.
Responsibilities: Cover L&D, postpartum, triage, and GYN emergencies, handle calls with experienced CNMs, provide backup for GYN surgeries including ectopic pregnancies, and utilize hospital support including 24-hour perinatal and GYN/ONC services with dedicated OB anesthesia.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy L&D setting (5 preferred), ability to obtain privileges for basic laparoscopy and management of ectopic pregnancies (must have completed 10 cases in the last 2 years), comfort with high-acuity obstetric and gynecologic care, and strong communication skills.
Key Duties: Manage high-volume deliveries (~9,000/year), provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic emergency care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure quality patient care in a Level III NICU environment.
