- Delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Preparing meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging in activities tailored to individual interests.
- Performing light housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting changes in patient condition, and following care plans.
- Using EVV systems to complete tasks and record time appropriately.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality, privacy, and safety, and reporting concerns or abuse immediately.
- Supporting patient independence within their abilities.
- Valid certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting and standing.
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.
