- Manage and develop nursing staff through training, orientation, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee Education, Infection Prevention, and Wound Management programs.
- Coordinate infection control and wound care initiatives.
- Assist in care plan development for residents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Supervise nursing operations, including staffing and safety practices.
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, and guardians regarding care concerns.
- May assume charge nurse duties during emergencies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Current NYS RN license in good standing.
- Supervisory experience in long-term or sub-acute care settings; geriatric experience preferred.
- Wound Care Certification & SigmaCare experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) or 5 years supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing needs.
