Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment, collaborating with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities
Execute diagnostic CT scans following physician orders and department protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures.
Produce and assess diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
Work closely with team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
Required: ARRT (RT)(R) Radiography Certification, relevant state licensure, and BLS certification.
Preferred: ARRT CT Certification, 1 years of CT experience, completion of controlled substance and sedation modules.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, patient care, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking are essential.
Physical & Additional Requirements
Ability to read and interpret information, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment precisely, lift and transfer patients and supplies, and stand for extended periods.
Must navigate busy environments safely and assist with patient mobility and equipment transport.
