Responsibilities
- Perform computerized imaging procedures such as CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy.
- Assist and support patients physically and psychologically during screening and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of imaging equipment, software, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor imaging equipment and ensure proper operation.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to provide physical and emotional support to patients.
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Licensure/certification in radiologic or nuclear medicine technology, including ARRT or NMTCB credentials, with specific qualifications based on the role.
- Less than one year of experience in computerized imaging or recent graduation from a CT certification program; experience in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or MRI is preferred.
- Strong technical skills, patient care, and troubleshooting ability.
