Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Supports and Services to lead and oversee Person Directed Supports Adult Program across multiple locations. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader committed to enhancing service delivery, fostering strong community relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive management experience, a deep understanding of program development and evaluation, and a passion for supporting children and youth with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, and mulit-system involvement. Essential Functions:
Case Management Services (examples of services can include but are not limited to):
- Coordination with County and Youth agencies, support coordinators, treatment providers and educators
- Mentoring and supervision of staff
- Assists in the planning and development of the Individual Support Plan
- Completion of monthly reports
Direct Treatment Services (examples of services can include but are not limited to):
- Coordination of staff shift schedules
- Assists in the planning and development of household budgets.
- Ensures all programs are always in compliance with their applicable licensing regulations (PA Code Chapter 6400 Regulations)
- Participates in the training and evaluation of subordinates
- Meeting with referrals to assess appropriateness for program
Job Responsibilities:
Creates/promotes a culture centered on building self-directed lives with the people we support.
- Oversees and manages all operations of the supports and services (including operations of all homes)
- Ensures the health, safety, and wellbeing of the individuals in the home
- Implements agency policies and procedures
- Adheres to all laws, licensing regulations, and compliance guidelines
- Demonstrated effective administration of assigned units; complies with established
administrative policies and duties.
- Displays principles of good management and applies these principles in daily work performance.
- Assures program staffing needs are met for all homes.
- Coordinate allotted work schedule and assigned duties; effectively performs on-call duties.
- Abides by established policies and procedures of the agency, County, and State; offers direction and supervision for compliance for Direct Care Supporters and Direct Care Supervisors.
- Makes independent decisions regarding program operations within her/his authority.
- Evaluates and appropriately acts in emergency situations, assisted as needed and reports to the Senior Executive Director.
- Notifies the Senior Executive Director and Agency RN in an accurate and timely manner of unusual incidents, problems and changes in individual’s programmatic, medical, or behavioral needs.
- Promotes a positive working relationship with all employees.
- Assures the individuals have a comfortable, clean, orderly, and safe living environment.
- Coordinates and reviews the careful preparation with individuals’ records and ensures that they are kept accurate and up to date.
- Maintains statistics and prepares and submits reports as directed by the Senior Executive Director
- Ensures that programmatic and behavioral routines are followed as established; follows
established procedures when making changes.
- Attend all individual related individual meetings.
- Attend supervisory meetings.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Conduct staff meetings to include meeting notes and the agenda.
- Participates in required in-service training and professional growth activities.
- Provides direct support as needed.
- Handles individual or personnel grievances and reports or refers them to the Human Resource Department.
- Cooperate with parents, service agencies, and administration regarding programs and
habilitative planning.
- Assists in establishing good public relations.
- Completes all reporting requirements
- Completes other duties as assigned by Person Directed Supports, Inc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University and four
years’ experience working directly in Human Services. Two of those
years must be working directly with children and adolescents.

Master’s Degree from an accredited College or University and two
year’s experience working directly in Human Services. One of those
years must be working directly with children and adolescents.
